During a recent meeting with Iran’s Ambassador in Moscow Kazem Jalali on Tuesday, Anton Kobyakov emphasized that in the current complex international climate, mutual support remains vital. He noted that both nations are focused on fulfilling specific agreements and strengthening supply chains to ensure the flow of essential goods for their citizens and economies.
The Russian official further highlighted Iran’s influential role as a key member of regional and international blocs such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), adding that expanding economic ties between Moscow and Tehran serves the interests of both nations and the broader Eurasian region.
For his part, Jalali expressed gratitude for Russia’s principled and supportive stance toward Iran, reaffirming Tehran’s commitment to bolstering economic relations and advancing strategic cooperation in the post-war era.
