Iran’s new ambassador to Vietnam, Javad Ghasemi, met with Araghchi on Sunday before departing for Hanoi.
During their meeting, the new envoy briefed the top Iranian diplomat on his mission and his plans to strengthen the ties between Tehran and Hanoi.
For his part, Araghchi emphasized the need to expand and further enhance relations, particularly in the political, economic, trade, and tourism sectors.
