Nournews: Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaghari said on Sunday that the so-called U.S. military rescue operation—planned as a deception and rapid escape mission under the pretext of rescuing the pilot of a downed aircraft at an abandoned airfield in southern Isfahan—ended in complete failure due to the timely presence of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He noted that, based on prior intelligence and follow-up field assessments, it was confirmed that two C-130 military transport aircraft and two U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters were destroyed. He described the outcome as the result of “divine promise and support” and the “sacred wrath of Iranian forces, which further compounded the repeated failures of the U.S. military.
The spokesperson emphasized that the incident proved the “weak and defeated U.S. military is not the dominant force in this imposed war when faced with the determination of Iran’s armed forces.
Colonel Zolfaghari added that following this “pride-inspiring and victorious operation,” the “defeated” U.S. president has resorted to psychological warfare and falsehoods in an attempt to deflect from defeat, continuing what he described as baseless rhetoric—despite realities on the ground indicating the upper hand of Iran’s armed forces.
