Enemy begging to negotiate about Strait of Hormuz: VP

First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref has ridiculed US President Donald Trump’s claim on Iran’s call for talks, saying that vice versa the enemy is begging to hold talks on the Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on his X account on Monday, Aref wrote that Iran’s armed forces are among the most powerful in the world, adding that, “We crushed the aggressors; now they are begging us to negotiate about the Strait of Hormuz. But we need to see how ready they are to make the necessary concessions.”
The first vice president also took to X yesterday writing that "The Strait of Hormuz regime will no longer be as it was in the past” He added that the government aims to "transform the battlefield achievements into sustainable economic and security benefits for the country."
He said efforts by Iran's enemies to bring about political change in Iran had merely led to "regime change in Hormuz."
