Pezeshkian says enemy’s dream for Iran’s surrender will never come true

President Masoud Pezeshkian has vowed strong resistance against aggressors, saying their dream for the surrender of the Iranian nation will never come true.

“They will take to the grave the desire for the surrender of the children of Iran,” Pezeshkian said in a message to the Iranian nation on Tuesday, in which he invited people to participate in the funeral ceremony of 84 Iranian Army sailors, stressing that each one of these martyrs will be replaced by thousands of other soldiers.

The crew members of Dena Destroyer were martyred on their way back home in the Indian Ocean after participating in an international military exercise in the beginning days of the ongoing US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran.

The president condemned their killing, noting that the Iranian sailors were martyred while they were in the high seas way away from the battlefield.

He said that US forces violated all the international and moral regulations in targeting Dena Destroyer, showing their terrorist nature to the world.

President Pezeshkian once again expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of the Iranian sailors in the US attack. Twenty sailors are still unaccounted for.

People in Tehran are set to bid farewell to the martyred sailors on Tuesday. A funeral procession is also scheduled to take place the following day.
