Speaking at a press conference alongside spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei on Monday at the Ministry of Foreign Ministry in Tehran, Araghchi said that the Strait of Hormuz is open for any country other than the aggressors and their partners.
He said that on the 17th day of the ongoing aggression on Iran, the US has resorted to countries that would consider enemies so far to open the Strait of Hormuz.
"We are staging a proudly resistance and we will continue to this resistance," the top Iranian diplomat said. He said that as he already said many times Iran has not sent any messages to Washington for a ceasefire, stressing that "this war has to end in a way that will not be repeated."
He continued to say that the Americans and Zionist aggressors must have learned a good lesson not to think of attacking Iran again.
He thanked the journalists for their coverage of the war events, expressing confidence that he will meet them in the coming days to celebrate the victory in the war.
