The statement said: Following public tip-offs and subsequent intelligence-operational measures, a terrorist cell composed of mercenaries of the American–Zionist enemy—who were planning to carry out the orders of their aggressor masters in Tehran—was identified, and its members were arrested by the Unknown Soldiers of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) within the Ministry of Intelligence.
The announcement added that 11 Kalashnikov assault rifles, a large quantity of ammunition and urban warfare equipment, sums of foreign currency (euros and dollars), and one Starlink device were discovered and seized from these terrorist mercenaries.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Intelligence, the Unknown Soldiers of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), reaffirming their pledge to the martyred Imam, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei (may his pure soul be sanctified), and to the recent martyrs—particularly the innocent children of Minab—declared that decisive action against these few domestic mercenaries, who in line with the sinister scheme of the American–Zionist enemy to destabilize the Islamic homeland act as “Israeli soldiers,” will continue firmly and resolutely.
In the final part of the statement, the Ministry called on the vigilant and ever-present people of the Islamic Republic of Iran to, as in the past, report any suspicious information to the telephone numbers 110, 113, and 114, or through the Ministry of Intelligence’s news headquarters portal on Iranian messaging platforms (Eitaa, Baleh, and Rubika).
