Tel Aviv warns Iranian diplomatic mission to leave Lebanon

NOURNEWS – Continuing its violations of the ceasefire and ongoing airstrikes, the occupying Israeli regime targeted a hotel in the Baabda area of Lebanon while simultaneously bombing the southern suburbs of Beirut. Israel also gave Iran’s diplomatic mission 24 hours to leave Lebanon.

Al-Mayadeen reporter reported that the Israeli military aggression struck the Comfort Hotel, located in the Hazmieh area of Baabda district.

A responsible military source, responding to rumors about Hezbollah fighters establishing a security cordon around the Comfort Hotel in Baabda following the Israeli attack, confirmed to the publication that reports of a Hezbollah security cordon near the hotel are entirely false. Instead, military units were deployed in the area to assist with search-and-rescue operations and prevent civilians from approaching, effectively creating a security perimeter.

In the same context, Israel also carried out attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Earlier, in the early hours of Wednesday morning, Israeli occupiers targeted a four-story residential building in the Aramoun area and an apartment in the Saadiyat area of Lebanon’s Mount Lebanon governorate.

Victims of Israeli Attacks

According to preliminary statistics from Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, these aggressions resulted in six deaths and eight injuries in Aramoun and Saadiyat.

Following these attacks, Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building in the Al-Aasirah neighborhood of Baalbek city in eastern Lebanon, causing four deaths and over ten injuries, according to preliminary reports.

Meanwhile, Al-Mayadeen’s reporter also reported five fatalities, 15 injuries, and three missing persons in the Israeli attack on a residential complex in Baalbek.

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health officially reported that Israeli aggression in Lebanon from Tuesday morning until evening resulted in 50 deaths and 335 injuries.

New Warning to Residents of Southern Lebanese Villages

Despite these aggressions, the Israeli army issued a statement Wednesday calling on residents of 16 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate by nightfall.

The statement emphasized that residents must immediately leave their homes and move at least 1,000 meters away from the villages.

The Israeli army claimed that Hezbollah has compelled it to take military action against the group.

The army ordered villagers to immediately evacuate their neighborhoods and not return to the villages or towns during this phase.

The occupying army issued an urgent warning about targeting buildings in Beirut’s southern suburbs, particularly in the Harat Harik neighborhood.

Sirens Sound in Occupied Territories

After Hezbollah fired rockets toward the city of Safed and its surroundings in northern occupied territories, warning sirens were activated in the city.

It is worth noting that sirens had sounded four other times last night in the Galilee region and along the borders of Lebanon with the occupied territories.

Enemy media also reported that Hezbollah fired 30 rockets toward the occupied territories overnight.

Lebanese media reported Israeli attacks on the towns of Shaqra, Al-Jumayjmeh, and areas around the town of Sarifa in southern Lebanon.

News sources also reported that a building in Harat Harik in Beirut’s southern suburbs was targeted.

Warning to Iranian Diplomats to Leave Lebanon

Al Jazeera’s website reported that the Israeli army also stated it has given all Iranian regime representatives in Lebanon 24 hours to leave the country, warning that after the deadline, they would become “direct targets.”

An Israeli army spokesperson, in a statement in Arabic, said: “Any presence of representatives of the Iranian ‘terrorist’ regime in Lebanon will not be tolerated.”

The spokesperson confirmed that the Israeli army will target these representatives wherever they are found after the deadline.

Avichay Adraee, army spokesperson, tweeted: “The Israeli army will not tolerate any presence of Iranian representatives, and after the next 24 hours, there will be no safe place for them in Lebanon.”

Reinforcement of Occupying Army on Lebanese Border

In this regard, the Israeli army announced that it has reinforced its forces along the northern border and deployed the 146th Brigade along the Lebanese frontier.

Hebrew media reported that warning sirens were sounded in Kiryat Shmona, Al-Manara, Marjaliyot, and Al-Matlouh.

News sources stated that sirens sounded in northern towns of occupied Palestine due to continuous drone attacks from southern Lebanon.

Israeli media also reported a direct missile strike on Beit Shemesh in the occupied city of Al-Quds.

Attacks from Iran

Israeli media reported that three missiles were fired from Iranian territory toward the occupied city of Al-Quds.
