Earlier in the day, the US and Israel carried out airstrikes on various cities across 24 provinces of Iran, targeting military sites and residential areas, among other places.
According to an announcement by the Iranian Red Crescent Society, at least 201 people were confirmed killed as of 8:45 pm local time. The number of wounded stood at 747 at the time of the announcement.
