Iran’s deputy foreign minister heads to China to deliver president’s message

Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, has departed for Beijing as the special representative of the president to hold consultations with senior Chinese officials.

Gharibabadi is scheduled to convey a message from President Masoud Pezeshkian to the president of China during the visit.

The talks are expected to focus on issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.

On Tuesday, Gharibabadi also met with Russia’s ambassador to Tehran, where the two sides discussed bilateral relations as well as key issues and developments of shared concern.
