Hajibabaei made the remarks in a meeting with Pyotr Tolstoy, the Deputy Speaker of the Russian State Duma, on the sidelines of the 16th General Assembly of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) in Manama, Bahrain on Sunday.
Calling Donald Trump dangerous to the world peace, he warned that the US president seeks to break international norms, from Gaza and Venezuela to Greenland, Canada, and other regions, with his threatening and provocative tone.
He said Trump even wanted to make the UN Security Council ineffective by coining the so-called "Board of Peace."
Referring to the recent US intimidation, Hajibabaei said Trump's bullying behavior had gone so far that he even called some European countries "American provinces" in response to their support for Greenland. "Europe was initially thought to be America's partner given their anti-Iran resolutions, but today, Europe has become an involuntary tool serving American policies," he added.
According to him, Russia, China, and Iran are left as independent actors as the US has become a police state by removing Europe from the power equation, and the recent terrorist war and pressure on the Islamic Republic was part of the new equation.
He noted that enemies used all their capabilities, from internal and external hostile groups to new technologies, psychological warfare, and propaganda tools to weaken Iran, but the Iranian nation thwarted plots hatched by the US and the Israeli regime.
For his part, the Deputy Speaker of the Russian State Duma, reaffirmed his country's support for Iran, saying the two countries can play a role in achieving international peace and stability.
Tolstoy echoed the view of Iran on dangerous US policies, criticizing Trump's aggressive, and pressure-based methods, and his "adventurous" attempt to replace the United Nations with concepts like the "Board of Peace."
Nevertheless, he said Trump should be allowed to continue with his mistakes and actions, so that their consequences become more clear.
