The top diplomat made the comments in an interview with Lebanese news network Al Manar during his trip to Beirut, which took place on Thursday and Friday.
“Some of the Iranian nuclear structures, installations and equipment were damaged during the 12-day war but technology cannot be destroyed through bombardment,” he said while commenting on the war which Israel waged on June 13 and the US joined later.
Araghchi also said that Iran remains ready for a fair agreement over its nuclear program, which is based on mutual respect, but is doubtful whether the US pursues the same goal.
On the latest riots in Iran, Araghchi said that Israeli officials have claimed that Mossad agents were involved in the riots in the capital, Tehran, and elsewhere in Iran.
According to the foreign minister, they had planned to implement in Iran what they did in Venezuela, assuming that they could force Iran to surrender within three days, but they failed to do so.
