The Islamic Republic of Iran Army issued a statement on the occasion of the anniversary of 9 Dey, reaffirming its commitment to defending the Iranian nation and confronting any hostile action.

The statement emphasized that the Iranian Army, alongside other branches of the Armed Forces, remains loyal to the “sacred unity” of the Iranian people and faithful to the covenant symbolized by the 9 Dey epic.

Taking into account current conditions and recent developments, the Army said it is now more than ever in a state of full readiness to defend the brave Iranian nation and safeguard the country’s territorial integrity, independence, and the Islamic Establishment.

The statement stressed that the Army operates under the wise leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and declared that it stands firm and resolute like a mountain against enemies.

It concluded by warning that any hostile action by adversaries will be met with a crushing response.
