The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament hosted Mojtaba Amani, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Beirut.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest political developments, the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations between Lebanon and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
After the meeting, Amani announced that the meeting was held within the framework of his ongoing consultations and talks with Lebanese officials.
According to him, the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, especially the repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement by the Israeli regime, were discussed and views were exchanged.
