Farzaneh Kaboli announced that Hadi Marzban passed away today at 7 a.m. in the hospital. Marzban had been hospitalized in the ICU in recent weeks due to a pancreatic disorder.
The body of Hadi Marzban, the veteran theater director, will be escorted from in front of Vahdat Hall on Tuesday, (November 25). Farzaneh Kaboli, also a theater artist and Marzban’s wife, stated that the funeral ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m., and his body will be taken from Vahdat Hall to the Artists’ Section of Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery.
Marzban had been preparing for the production of Parizad, which remained unfinished. Born in April 1944, his artistic career included directing plays such as The Magnificent Smile of Mr. Gill, The Staircase, Memories of the Supporting Actor, Khanomcheh and Mahtabi, Our Night Garden, Night on the Wet Pavement, Slowly with the Red Rose, A Turn of Madness, Amiz Ghalamdoon, Hamlet with Seasonal Salad, Simorgh, Mir-e Eshgh, The Tambour Player, and many more.
