The two officials met in Oman’s capital, Muscat, on Thursday.
“Pleased to meet H.E. @takhtravanchi, Iran’s Deputy FM for Political Affairs today. We discussed bilateral ties and ways to enhance them, exchanged views on regional & and int’l developments, and reaffirmed support for resolving conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means,” Albusaidi said on X.
Oman’s Foreign Minister also shared a post on X, saying that Takht Ravanchi, as part of his visit to Oman, met Albusaidi to hold the eleventh round of political consultations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed relations between their countries, which stem from the two sides’ mutual keenness to expand bilateral cooperation and partnership, and to advance shared interests and mutual benefits to serve the peoples of both nations, according to the ministry’s post.
It said the Iranian deputy FM and Oman’s top diplomat also reviewed regional and international developments. They emphasized the importance of continued coordination and consultations on various issues, as well as their support for all efforts aimed at resolving conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means, in a manner that contributes to strengthening security and stability, and promoting efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region, according to the ministry's post shared in Arabic.
