From Cognitive Warfare to Balancing Deterrence of Resistance

NOURNEWS – Recent developments in the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza show that contrary to Zionist propaganda, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has not only not been weakened, but has also taken the political and humanitarian initiative by rebuilding its military and managerial structure, and has once again marked the strategic defeat of Netanyahu and his Western supporters.

The developments on the ground in Gaza clearly show that two years of war and crimes by the Zionists have not been able to break Hamas' military capability. The call for 7,000 security forces to take control of the liberated areas reflects the reconstruction and internal cohesion of the resistance. While martyred commanders such as Haniyeh and Sinwar have inspired a new generation of fighters, Tel Aviv's claim that Hamas's military capability has been destroyed has been unfounded. Billions of dollars in Western military aid also failed to break the structure of the resistance. The withdrawal of the regime's army from Gaza is not a sign of victory, but a forced withdrawal from the field in which the resistance has the upper hand. The propaganda plans of Washington and Tel Aviv aimed at instilling Hamas' managerial incompetence, especially in the framework of Trump's 20-point plan, emphasized the transfer of control of Gaza to figures such as Tony Blair. However, the election of five new governors by Hamas demonstrates its institutional efficiency and ability to rebuild the administrative structure in times of crisis. This development is a clear response to those who claim that Gaza cannot be governed without a foreign guardian. Today, the resistance, relying on local forces, has taken control not only of internal security, but also of the reconstruction and distribution of humanitarian aid. This model is an example of "indigenous management in post-war conditions" that can inspire resilient communities in the region.

Human Initiative and War Narratives

In the realm of cognitive warfare, Hamas has also shown that it has the initiative. The release of the prisoners showed the true face of the Resistance to the world by preserving their human dignity and their video contact with their families before their delivery. While the Zionist regime has been criticized by human rights organizations for its inhumane treatment of Palestinian prisoners, Hamas's humane behavior has sparked a wave of global solidarity. This action not only thwarted Israeli propaganda but also highlighted the concept of "human resistance" against "Zionist state terrorism." The war of narratives is now more in favor of the resistance than ever before.

Right to self-determination and end of imposed guardianship

In contrast to Western plans to impose foreign sovereignty on Gaza, Hamas has emphasized the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination. Mohammed Nazzal, one of the movement's leaders, said that only a transitional government of independent technocrats could run the Gaza Strip and then hold elections.

This position is clearly opposed to the international mandate and emphasizes the political independence of the Palestinians. While Western human rights advocates speak of non-indigenous structures, the resistance insists on "the right of the nation to govern its own destiny." Thus, Hamas is not only a military actor, but also a legitimate political and social actor acting on the basis of the will of the people.

The implementation of the ceasefire agreement and the release of prisoners once again showed that the Islamic resistance of Hamas, after two years of war and siege, has not only not collapsed, but has emerged stronger and more cohesive than in the past. From its military and managerial capabilities to its humanitarian and political initiative, Hamas has established its authority in the regional arena and has ushered in a new chapter of "rational resistance" whose goal is not revenge, but rather the rights and security of the people. Netanyahu's propaganda and field failures and Trump's performances are a testament to the fact that the era of the supremacy of the Zionist narrative has come to an end and the era of popular authority in Gaza has begun.
