Kuwait Crown Prince calls for an immediate halt to Gaza war

Kuwait’s Crown Prince described the ongoing events in Gaza as a genocide resulting from double standards in enforcing international law and called for an immediate halt to the conflict.

At the United Nations General Assembly, Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah emphasized the need to reform the UN Security Council to uphold justice, transparency, and eliminate double standards.

He condemned Israel’s brutal aggression against Qatar and warned of escalating military tensions in the region, reaffirming Kuwait’s full solidarity with Qatar. He stressed that any threat to PGCC member states is a threat to all members.

Regarding Gaza, the Crown Prince described ongoing events as a “real genocide” caused by double standards in enforcing international law. He appreciated efforts to achieve a ceasefire, condemned Israeli attacks on Gaza and occupied Palestinian territories, and called for an immediate end to aggression and unhindered humanitarian aid access.

Kuwait also reaffirmed its support for UNRWA (the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees), strongly opposed Israeli settlement policies and forced displacement, and welcomed countries recognizing Palestine, urging others to follow suit.
