In a statement on Thursday morning, Ayatollah Sistani's office issued a statement condemning the Israeli aggression on Iran.
The statement stressed that any criminal action in this regard woud have seroius consequences for the entire region.
It further called on the international community to make any effort they can to stop this brutal aggression and find a peaceful solution to Iran's nuclear issue.
