While the Zionist regime has already killed more than 55,000 defenseless Palestinian civilians, many of them children, over the past 20 months, and continues its genocidal campaign of starvation, siege, and bombardment in Gaza and across Palestine, it has also intensified its attacks on Lebanon, displacing civilians and targeting infrastructure, and has violated Syria’s sovereignty through occupation and strikes. Now, in yet another act of state terrorism, the regime has launched a military assault on Iran, targeting our country’s infrastructure and assassinating a number of our nation’s scientific and military figures, along with dozens of innocent civilians, including women and children.
A historical comparison between today’s crimes and the regime’s founding in the 1940s carried out by terrorist and racist gangs such as Lehi, Haganah, Irgun, Betar reveals a disturbing continuity. These same violent organizations laid the ideological foundations for the regime's leadership and have been glorified as heroes by its rulers. It is no surprise, then, that a regime born of occupation and brutality continues to rely on violence and terror to pursue its agenda. Over the decades, the regime has firmly established itself as the global symbol of state-sponsored terrorism.
The innocent Iranian civilians martyred in this latest aggression are, without question, victims of this same state terrorism—just as were the more than 23,000 Iranian citizens murdered by terrorist groups supported by the Zionist regime and its backers over the past four decades. These martyrs remain forever in the memory of the Iranian people.
The long list of terrorism victims in Iran stands as a stark symbol of the nation’s suffering and resilience. Their pure blood will not be spilled in vain. Justice will eventually catch up with this terrorist regime and its supporters. This is the promise of God:
And those who have wronged shall soon know the fate that awaits them" (Qur’an, 26:227). And God’s promise is never broken.
