Syrian FM meets with Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council

The meeting follows Sabbagh’s talks with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, on Tuesday.

During the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of expanding and developing economic and trade relations between the two countries, as well as implementing previously signed agreements and understandings.

Notably, this is Sabbagh’s first visit to Tehran as Syrian Foreign Minister, which was made at the invitation of Araqchi.
