Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, explained on Sunday, "Today's meeting was held with the presence of Eslami, the head of AEOI."
He added, "Eslami presented a report on the latest developments in nuclear progress and the visit of the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, and emphasized that the peaceful nuclear program is proceeding in accordance with the law on strategic action to lift sanctions.
He also stressed that the path of the Islamic Republic of Iran is interaction, so if they interact, we will also interact within our own frameworks, and if they confront us, we will also confront them. If a new resolution is issued against Iran, immediate actions will be taken."
Rezaei continued, "Eslami mentioned that the visit of Grossi to Tehran was in accordance with Iran's internal protocols, and that we have moved powerfully and without delay in implementing the law on strategic action to lift sanctions. Eslami also mentioned that the atomic energy organization has become an industrial organization."
He referred to the opinions of the commission members about Grossi's visit, saying, "The majority of the members criticized the fact that Grossi was allowed to visit the country's nuclear centers, and emphasized the need for deterrent measures, saying that all concessions beyond the safeguards should be stopped. Some believed that the country's nuclear doctrine should be changed."
