An informed official told Nournews that reports published by some news channels under misleading titles about the Iranian armed forces' alleged plans for missile and drone attacks on terrorist groups in Pakistan are completely false and orchestrated by anti-revolutionary elements.
He stated that these actions are a continuation of the terrorist activities of anti-revolutionary groups and are intended to harm the warm and friendly relations between Tehran and Islamabad. This official also highlighted the joint efforts of both countries to identify and combat mercenary terrorist groups that create insecurity in border areas and cities.
He added that there is effective coordination among border guards, as well as military and security forces of Iran and Pakistan, to maintain border security and address any movements by armed terrorist agents.
