In a series of tweets on social media platform 'X', the president expressed: “Today, our beloved Iran mourns the loss of our partner in joy and sorrow, the ever-present and proud companion of the Resistance path, the brave leader of the Palestinian Resistance, the martyr of Al-Quds, Hajj Ismail Haniyeh. Yesterday, I raised his victorious hand, and today I must carry him on my shoulders to his funeral.”
He continued, “Martyrdom is the art of God's men. The bond between the proud nations of Iran and Palestine will grow stronger, and the path of Resistance and defense of the oppressed will be pursued with greater power. The Islamic Republic will defend its territorial integrity, dignity, and honor, and will make the terrorist occupiers regret their cowardly act.”
