Iran and Turkey resume electricity trade, aim for 500 megawatts

Iran's Electricity Production, Transmission and Distribution Management Company (Tavanir) announced the resumption of electricity trade with Turkey. Starting with an initial exchange of 100 megawatts, Tavanir aims to increase the trade to 500 megawatts in the near future.

The decision to resume electricity trade between the two countries was made during a meeting where both parties emphasized the need for finalization and implementation.

Tavanir's CEO, Mostafa Rajabi Mashhadi, expressed Iran's readiness to welcome Turkish investors, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
