Iran's national student volleyball team, which had advanced to the final match of the world student competition with six victories in a row against Uganda, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Chinese Taipei, played against Germany on Sunday. The Iranian players continued their brilliant games in Belgrade and were able to defeat their opponent and became the world champions.

The Iranian side defeated the European country in the first set 25-21, in the second set 25-18 and in the third set 26-24 and won the world championship title with that decisive victory.
