Speaking to IRNA correspondent on Monday, the lawmaker said that being defeated in operation against Palestinian nation, the Zionist regime carried out the attack on the Iranian consulate out of desperation to cover its defeats.
A strike against a consulate of any country would be regarded as an attack on the country's soil, he said, adding that Iran's response was a legitimate defense.
Despite the multi-layered defense of the Zionist regime which was also backed by the American defense systems, most of the Iranian missiles hit their goals which indicated the missile and deterrence power of the Islamic Republic, the lawmaker said.
He stressed that Iran's major missile and drone strike on the Zionist targets will definitely influence the regional equities.
