President Raisi made the remarks in a meeting with the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Wednesday.
With the powerful resistance of the oppressed people of Gaza, the issue of Palestine has gone beyond the Islamic world and has become the issue of the world of humanity, Raisi said, adding that the people of the world hate the Zionist criminal regime and its main supporter, the US, with all their heart.
What has been proven today for all the people of the world is the legitimacy of the Palestinian issue, Raisi continued, stressing that the fake and criminal Zionist regime is the root of all insecurity in the region and an anti-peace entity.
The recent events in Gaza were another big scandal for America and some Western countries who backed the Zionist child-killing regime, he added.
Undoubtedly, the definitive and final victory belongs to the Palestinian nation, Raisi emphasized.
Iran proud of supporting Palestinian Cause
The Islamic Republic of Iran will not hesitate to support the Palestinian cause and is proud of its support for the Palestinian cause, Raisi said.
What has been proven today for all the people of the world is the legitimacy of the Palestinian issue and the position of its defenders, including the Islamic Republic of Iran that the false and criminal Zionist regime is the root of all insecurities in the region and an anti-peace entity, he added.
Hamas political bureau chief, for his part, while presenting a detailed report on the current events and the perspective of developments in Gaza said that Al-Aqsa storm operation has brought unprecedented achievements for the Palestinians.
Haniyeh thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iranian nation for showing support for the oppressed Gaza people.Haniyeh has met with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in Tehran on Tuesday.
