More Britons support truce in Gaza: Poll

A new poll by YouGov company shows that the number of Britons calling on the Israeli regime to stop the ongoing military action against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has increased.

According to the global public opinion and data company, the number of respondents to the survey who called for a ceasefire in Gaza increased from 59% on November 16, 2023 to 66% on February 13, 2024.

The respondents who urged the regime to be prepared to enter into peace negotiations with the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas also increased from 61% on November 16 to 66% on February 13.

In response to the question, “Do you think Israel’s attack on Gaza from October onwards is or is not justified?” some 45% of the British respondents described it as unjustifiable, indicating a one-percent increase during the November-February span.

Facts and figures on the ground also prove the results of the survey, as different cities in the UK, including London, witnessed pro-Palestine rallies following the onset of the genocidal war on Gaza. On every occasion, hundreds of Britons poured onto the streets to show solidarity with the Palestinians and call for a ceasefire in the besieged strip.
