Seven Palestinian kids die of malnutrition amid Gaza war: Report

Seven children have lost their lives at a hospital in northern Gaza due to malnutrition amid the ongoing war in Gaza, media outlets have reported.

Ashraf Al-Qudra, a spokesperson for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, told Al Jazeera on Wednesday that seven children died at Kamal Adwan Hospital due to malnutrition.

Two hospitals in northern Gaza have no fuel to run generators and treat children suffering from malnutrition and dehydration, added the source.

“There is no reason to intentionally block the passage of humanitarian aid or intentionally obliterate small-scale fishing vessels, greenhouses and orchards in Gaza – other than to deny people access to food,” Michael Fakhri, the UN special rapporteur on the right to food, told the Guardian.

Israel is intentionally starving Palestinians and should be held accountable for war crimes – and genocide, he underlined.
