In a statement published by the Palestinian Sama news agency, Hamas said that considering the deplorable situation in Rafah, which houses nearly 1,400,000 Palestinians and whose streets have been turned into refugee camps, the Zionist army's attack on this city is a multifaceted crime and an insistence on genocide, forced migration and expansion of crime against the Palestinian nation.
The Zionist regime and army violated the decisions of the International Court of Justice to take urgent measures to stop the genocide, he said.
He also urged the Arab countries, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the UN Security Council to take rapid and serious measures to stop the Zionists' aggression.
Meanwhile, Al-Aqsa TV quoted one of the leaders of Hamas and emphasized that the Zionist army's attack on Rafah would lead to the failure of negotiations for the exchange of prisoners.
The Israeli warplanes targeted residential areas near the headquarters of the Palestinian Red Crescent in the center of Rafah early on Monday, in which more than a hundred Palestinians have been martyred and over 230 people have been injured.
