In the phone call held late on Wednesday, Amirabdollahian and Billström reiterated the need for increased diplomatic negotiations between Iran and Sweden while they discussed certain consular issues existing between the two.
The ministers also referred to the historical background in bilateral relations between Iran and Sweden as a base for further cooperation between the two countries.
