NOURNEWS- In response to the phone call of Jalil Abbas Jilani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, regarded Pakistan's position in the foreign policy and neighborhood of the Islamic Republic of Iran as important and said: it is appropriate to focus on and seriously follow security and military cooperation, which was agreed and emphasized by the authorities of the two countries in the past.
Amir-Abdollahian pointed out that Iran's security forces deal with any terrorist operation at the very beginning and do not allow terrorists to move operationally.
Referring to the recent anti-terrorist operation of Iran's local base against the Jaish al-Zulm group, which has taken responsibility for many terrorist operations, including the recent attack on the Rask police station in Iran, the head of Iran's diplomatic service emphasized: This operational action is in line with the immediate duties of the operational base in the Sistan and Balochistan region and to neutralize the urgent terrorist threat, according to the evidence and documentation, more than fifty terrorists were preparing to carry out a terrorist act against Iran in this place, which failed due to the timely action of the Iranian forces.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the respect that the Islamic Republic of Iran has for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its friendly, brotherly, and neighbor Pakistan and stated: The sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan is of great concern to us and the cooperation of the two countries to neutralize and destroy terrorist camps in Pakistan is essential.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian added: In a situation where the Zionist regime is attempting to kill women and children in Palestine, the need for the unity of the Islamic world and large and effective countries is felt more than ever.
Jalil Abbas Jilani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, in this telephone conversation, referring to the common goals of the two countries in the fight against terrorism, stated: A common attitude in the fight against terrorism is the core of the cooperation between the two countries, and Pakistan always emphasizes on fraternal and constructive relations with Iran and the right to sovereignty and territorial integrity is always a serious concern of Islamabad.
Emphasizing the special interest and respect of the nation and government of Pakistan for the Islamic Republic of Iran, Jilani stressed the development of brotherly relations in all dimensions between the two countries and added: We are two long-standing neighbors and Muslims, terrorism is our common enemy, and we should not allow terrorists and the enemies of the relations between Tehran and Islamabad to abuse anything. Cooperation and brotherhood are the main focus of our work.
At the end of this conversation, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan invited Amir-Abdollahian for an official visit to Islamabad.
