The Danish Court of Appeal on Friday confirmed the prison sentence of three members of the separatist group who were accused of promoting terrorism in Iran and collecting information for Saudi intelligence service.
These three people were sentenced to 6, 7 and 8 years in prison by a lower court in 2022.
The Eastern High Court in Copenhagen ruled that these people will be deported from Denmark.
The appeals court has not announced the names of the accused.
They will serve their sentences in Danish prisons, but it is not yet clear when they will be deported.
The judgment of the lower court on the promotion of terrorism of three members of the separatist terrorist group al-Ahwazieh and their espionage for Saudi Arabia was also confirmed in the Danish Court of Appeal on Tuesday.
Convicted members of the "al-Ahwazieh" group, whose names have not been mentioned, were arrested in February 2020 in the city of Rigsted, located 60 kilometers southwest of Copenhagen.
The accusation of these people in the field of promoting terrorism was proven after the terrorist attack on the Ahvaz military parade in September 2018.
