Irish president signs book of condolences for martyrs of Iran's Kerman attack

President of Ireland Michael Higgins has signed a book of condolences opened in the Iranian embassy in Dublin for those who were killed in Jan 3 terrorist attacks in Kerman, in southeast Iran.

NOURNEWS- President of Ireland Michael Higgins has signed a book of condolences opened in the Iranian embassy in Dublin for those who were killed in Jan 3 terrorist attacks in Kerman, in southeast Iran.

Higgins attended the embassy on Tuesday and held a short meeting with Iranian chargé d'affaires Kazem Sharif Kazemi.

In the meeting, the Irish president offered his condolences to the Iranian government, nation and the families of the victims of the terrorist attacks in Kerman.

The two sides also discussed the developments in the West Asia region, the international peace and stability as well as bilateral ties in their meeting.

Twin suicide attacks occurred in Kerman on January 3, 2024, killing some 91 people and wounding 284 others.
