NOURNEWS- Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran stated: Pursuing the assassination of Martyr Soleimani is one of the important missions of the government and the diplomatic system, and the perpetrators and commanders of this crime will definitely not be spared from the punishment of this cowardly act.
At the beginning of his press conference, Nasser Kanaani congratulated the birth of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) and stated: On the eve of the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of the great general, the international hero of the fight against terrorism, Major General Qassem Soleimani, I should honor the memory and name of this precious martyr and honor the high spirit of that noble martyr. I would like to send greetings and pay my respects. Martyr Soleimani is not among us anymore, but his thoughts, ideals, and school of thinking are still in place, and his thought has been propagated in the region, and the resistance software which that precious martyr produced and promoted remains, the resistance thought takes on a new life every day.
He clarified: I also honor the memory of the precious martyr, the comrade of Martyr Soleimani, during many years in the region of Martyr Seyyed Razi Mousavi, and I once again condemn the criminal act of Martyring that noble person. Certainly, the Zionist regime will not have any strategic achievements in resorting to such criminal actions, and the resistance is more powerful than ever before, the Zionist regime is trying to force the dominance and brutality of itself, but these actions will not help this regime to gain more life.
Kanaani also congratulated the Christians of Iran and the world and the followers of heavenly religions on the arrival of the New Year and added: Christians of the world celebrate the New Year in a situation where the land of the birth of Jesus Christ in Palestine is under the most unprecedented crimes of the usurper regime. Many of the followers of Jesus Christ did not celebrate this year in sympathy with the Palestinian nation, or as they should, and perhaps they do not consider the New Year as an event full of joy and happiness for themselves, and in order to sympathize with the Palestinian nation, they refrain from carrying out their religious programs and have avoided happy programs.
He stated: It is a pity that the Zionist regime did not stop its evil and tragic actions against the Palestinian nation in the continuation of the American support on the eve of the New Year and continues these crimes continuously for 3 months. We should ask the international community to fulfill their human responsibilities in supporting the Palestinian nation and preventing the killing machine of the Zionist regime.
In another part of his press conference regarding the cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed: The agency and its director general should follow their professional actions and avoid politics.
Kanaani also mentioned in another part of his speech that there is a positive atmosphere in the relations between the two countries of Iran and Egypt.
