NOURNEWS- Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the foreign minister of Iran has traveled to Armenia. During his trip, the Iranian Foreign Minister met with several high officials of Armenia and discussed regional and bilateral matters with them.
His meeting with secretary of Security Council of Armenia
Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has held talks with Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan.
During his visit to Armenia to discuss issues of mutual interest with Armenian officials, Amir-Abdollahian met with Grigoryan in the capital Yerevan on Wednesday.
Amir-Abdollahian had also met and discussed with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, as well as Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The top Iranian diplomat arrived in Yerevan on Wednesday at noon in a bid to meet Armenian officials.
The Armenian foreign minister also paid a visit to the Iranian capital city Tehran on September 30.
Amir-Abdollahian meeting with Armenia PM in Yerevan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan on Wednesday.
The meeting took place as part of Amir-Abdollahian’s visit to Yerevan where he has already met with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.
The visit to Armenia is Amir-Abdollahian’s second visit to Yerevan since he became Iran’s foreign minister in August 2021.
During his previous visit to the neighboring country last year, the Iranian foreign minister launched Iran’s consulate in Kapan.
