Amir-Abdollahian: Palestine belongs to the Palestinians

Regarding the Tehran International Conference on Palestine, he said: today's meeting was attended by official representatives of governments from 40 countries and representatives of non-governmental organizations and scholars from 29 countries. This shows global attention towards Palestine has an important focus.

NOURNEWS- Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, participated in a press conference on Saturday, 23 December in the aftermath of the Tehran International Conference on Palestine and answered the questions of journalists.

Regarding the Tehran International Conference on Palestine, he said: today's meeting was attended by official representatives of governments from 40 countries and representatives of non-governmental organizations and scholars from 29 countries. This shows global attention towards Palestine has an important focus.

The foreign minister continued: Our main goal for holding this meeting is to create greater coordination in political and international positions to help the Palestinian people. Our focus in this age of genocide and crime is to emphasize the future of Palestine and that Palestine belongs to the Palestinians.

He added: countries deciding instead of the Palestinians is a mistake made by America and its allies. The issue that I raised in my meetings in the last 77 days is that the root of what we are witnessing does not go back to October 7, and the root of the problem goes back to 75 years ago and the start of the occupation.

Currently, more than 700,000 people live in northern Gaza and are under the bombardment of the Zionists and refuse to be forced to leave their land. And contrary to the claims of the Zionist regime, southern Gaza is not safe either.

The main goal of the Zionists is to move all the residents of Gaza to the Sinai desert in Egypt.

Despite noises and continuous interviews of the Zionist officials, America and Israel have reached an impasse on the issue of Gaza and the West Bank.

Today, there are political conflicts within the White House as to why America tied itself so much to Israel in the Gaza war that it is now thinking of a dignified exit from the Gaza war.

The Zionist regime claimed to continue the war until the destruction of Hamas. Today, Hamas is negotiating with Israel.

The message of American officials to Iran to control and manage the scope of the Gaza war

Actions in Yemen are not carried out by just one group, but Sana'a and the ruling government of Yemen made a decisive decision in this regard.

We clearly told America that you, who are on one side of the Gaza war, cannot talk about controlling the scope of the war.

At some point, the Americans asked us to advise Yemen to do something against the American and Israeli resources, which we said we had never ordered them to do so, and because of that, we can't order them to stop their attacks.

Today, Europe supports the ceasefire in Gaza and the sending of humanitarian aid differently than America and Israel.

We had close and continuous consultations with Russia and China for a ceasefire and the cessation of war in Gaza and the West Bank.

We discussed this with some members of the Security Council, even England, Germany, and France.
