NOURNEWS- Nasser Kanaani, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, announced in a statement regarding the holding of the “Tehran International Conference on Palestine” that will be held today:
This conference is held to strengthen international support for the oppressed nation of Palestine in Gaza and the West Bank, strengthen the pressure on the Zionist regime to completely stop this regime's military attacks against Gaza, and completely lift the blockade imposed against the enclave, as well as to stimulate the sending of international humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.
The spokesperson of the diplomatic agency added: In this one-day international meeting, high-ranking government officials, prominent political, and religious, thinkers, and media personalities from more than 50 countries of the world are participants.
Kanaani evaluated the holding of this meeting in the context of the continuation of the diplomatic efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the resistance and fight of the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza against the Zionist regime as a hero and stated: the immediate stop of the war crimes and genocide of the Zionist apartheid regime against the oppressed people of Palestine is the demand of all rights seekers, justice seekers. And the awakened human consciences are all over the world.
