Caretaker of Taliban government's foreign ministry departs for Tehran

Amir Khan Muttaqi, the foreign minister of the caretaker government of Afghanistan, left Kabul for Tehran to attend a high-level political conference on the issue of Palestine.

NOURNEWS- Amir Khan Muttaqi, the foreign minister of the caretaker government of Afghanistan, left Kabul for Tehran to attend a high-level political conference on the issue of Palestine.

Zia Ahmad Takl, the spokesman of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced the visit of Muttaqi, the head of the Taliban's Foreign Ministry, to Iran.

It is said that Muttaqi headed a delegation to Tehran at the invitation of Hossein Amirabdollahian, Iran's foreign minister, and in order to participate in the “High Level Political Consultation on the Palestine Issue” conference.

This conference will be held in Tehran with the participation of officials from different countries on the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran regarding the Palestinian people and ensuring their regional and international security.
