NOURNEWS- Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani says the resistance front, as a regional reality, plays a critical role in establishing peace and stability in the region and cannot be eradicated.
Bagheri made the remarks on Wednesday while addressing a gathering of some 70 Japanese intellectuals and opinion leaders at the Iranian Embassy in Tokyo.
“The resistance movement, as a reality in the region, is a factor in creating stability, peace, and tranquility and is a key player in the fight against Takfiri terrorism. It cannot be eradicated,” he stated.
According to the reports, Bagheri, who is on an official visit to Tokyo, focused on three key concepts of “wisdom, dignity, and expediency” while elaborating on Iran’s foreign policy.
The deputy foreign minister stressed that multilateralism is closely aligned with justice in the international arena, adding that the United States, as a unilateral player, is an impediment to global justice.
“In the current circumstances, the United States, with its unilateralism, does not allow justice to prevail,” he said. “They view everything through the lens of their own interests.”
