NOURNEWS- Dr. Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the representative of the Supreme Leader and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, met with the Prime Minister of Syria, Hussein Arnous, who has traveled to Tehran, and discussed with him about the bilateral issues and the most important developments in the region, especially the situation in Gaza.
At this meeting, Dr. Ahmadian, referring to the long-standing and warm relations between the two countries of Iran and Syria, expressed hope that the axis of resistance, as they have unique cooperation and coordination at the political, defense, and security levels; Considering the large market that exists in the countries of the resistance front, they can improve and expand the level of their cooperation in the economic fields in an acceptable manner.
The representative of the Supreme Leader said that the friendly and brotherly country of Syria is one of the important pillars of the resistance front, which has a significant contribution to the empowerment of this front. Tehran-Damascus relations have continued at a very good level since the time of the late Syrian president, despite the pressures of the dominating world order, and the two countries have made brilliant achievements by supporting each other in difficult circumstances.
Dr. Ahmadian said: Today, the Zionist regime has not achieved any of its goals in Gaza despite the comprehensive and even operational support of the United States and the use of all its military and intelligence capabilities. This shows that even if the United States stays in the region, it would not be able to implement its policies.
Referring to the unparalleled resistance of the people of Gaza against the barbaric attacks of the child-killing Zionist regime, Dr. Ahmadian stated: Today, the Palestinian people and resistance have shown their capabilities in the field of fighting against the aggressors, which the armies of several countries are unable to do, and this is one of the honors of the resistance front.
In this meeting, the Prime Minister of Syria, Hussein Arnous, also expressed his gratitude for the cooperation and companionship of the nation and the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially the economic field.
He said: During this trip, we reached a good understanding with the Iranian authorities in many economic and commercial fields, which we hope will benefit the people of the two countries.
The Prime Minister of Syria said: The cohesion and unity of the resistance front caused the collapse of the American and Zionist regime's plan regarding Gaza, to displace the people and destroy the resistance.
He stated: The resistance front from Syria to Yemen will never allow the sinister plans of the Zionist regime regime to be implemented.
