In this meeting, while pointing to the depth of the relations between the two countries, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran emphasized the necessity of expanding commercial and economic cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad and removal of the existing obstacles.

Dr. Ahmadian announced the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to comprehensively expand relations and meet Iraq's needs, especially in the field of advanced technologies then said: We do not place any restrictions on expanding relations with our neighbors.

Furthermore, Dr. Ahmadian expressed hope by praising Iraq's clear and consistent positions in condemning the Zionist child-killing regime and confronting the crimes of this regime, especially the law of criminalization of normalizing relations with the Zionist occupiers, as well as the resolution of the Iraqi parliament to expel American soldiers from Iraq's soil and said; The desire of the Iraqi nation to cut off the hands of foreigners from Iraq's financial and economic resources should be realized as soon as possible.

The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the central government of Iraq and the Kurdistan region in the fight against terrorism and said; Turning the security agreement between Iran and Iraq into a law in the parliament, considering the prohibition of attacking the territory of neighboring countries in the Iraqi constitution, can be a very important and effective step in establishing stability and stable security in the borders of the two countries.

Dr. Ahmadian emphasized the effect of the cooperation between the legislative assemblies and parliaments of Iran, Iraq, and other Islamic countries on the expansion of parliamentary actions and campaigns against the Zionist regime and added: Cutting ties with this regime and all-round sanctions and punishment of Zionist war criminals should be done and followed by the assemblies and parliaments of Islamic countries.

In this meeting, Mohsen Ali Akbar Namdar Nadhar Al-Mandalawi, the first vice-chairman of the Iraqi House of Representatives, stated as he referred to the warm and long-standing relations between the two countries; The parliament and the government of Iraq will try to remove the commercial, financial and economic obstacles between the two countries while being fully prepared to further expand relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Referring to Syria's victory over ISIS terrorists and the country's return to the Arab League, Al-Mandalawi called for the convergence and cooperation of regional countries in dealing with terrorism, especially the Zionist terrorist regime.
