NOURNEWS- Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the continuation of his regional trip, met and discussed with Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
According to the correspondent of “Nournews” in Qatar; While being grateful for the powerful resistance of Hamas against the crimes and occupation of the Zionist regime and honoring the memory and names of the martyrs of the resistance, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the foreign minister of Iran, congratulated the victory of the resilient people of Gaza against Israel who have imposed and forced a ceasefire on this child-killing regime.
Emphasizing Tehran's all-round support for the Palestinian people's resistance, the Iranian foreign minister stated: The fierce stand of the people and the Palestinian resistance in the face of the terrorist army of the Zionist regime showed that this regime is too weak to realize its evil goals, such as the destruction of Hamas.
Referring to the temporary cease-fire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli regime, which is scheduled to be established on Friday morning, Amir-Abdollahian added: The Islamic Republic of Iran has put all its efforts in various political and diplomatic fields to end the genocide in Gaza as soon as possible.
In this meeting, Ismail Haniyeh, while thanking the Islamic Republic of Iran for its constant and extensive support to the oppressed people of Palestine and the cause of holy Quds, emphasized the continuation of the resistance for the realization of the complete liberation of the occupied territories from the existence of the Zionist enemy.
The chief of Hamas's political bureau said: Today, contrary to the false propaganda of the Western-Zionist media, the Palestinian nation itself has become the driving force of the resistance and jihad against the Zionists, and it is the fake and usurping government of Israel that has faced a crisis of legitimacy due to the chaotic internal conditions.
Referring to the widespread popular support for the Palestinian issue and the general disgust of the criminal Zionist regime around the world, Haniyeh said: In addition to the heavy defeat of the Zionists in the intelligence, security, and military dimensions in the recent battle, they have also failed and faced defeats in the media and psychological dimension and have lost the battlefield in the eyes of the public opinion of the world and, today all the nations of the world have realized the righteousness of the Palestinians and their cause without any doubt.
