NOURNEWS- During his trip to Beirut, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, met with Ziyad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, and Khalil al-Hayya, the head of Arab-Islamic relations and the vice-chairman of the Hamas movement in Gaza, and discussed the developments in Palestine.
Examining the latest developments in Gaza and the imminent process of a ceasefire in this area was the most important topic discussed in the joint meeting of Amir-Abdollahian with the officials of the Palestinian movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
In this meeting, while expressing his sympathy with the families of more than 14,500 martyrs in Gaza and the West Bank, and wishing for a speedy recovery and health for thousands of injured people caused by the barbaric attacks of the Zionist regime against Gaza, the minister of foreign affairs of Iran congratulated the achievements and victories of the resistance movement to the resistance groups and the great and patient nation of Palestine.
Admiring the patience and perseverance of the people of Gaza and the West Bank of Palestine and the courage of the resistance forces in the field battle with the Zionist aggressor forces, Amir-Abdollahian said today everyone admits that the Palestinian resistance has so much power in the field that the aggressors cannot win against it.
Pointing out that the enemies now consider Gaza the heart of the battlefield and Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, and Syria also the part connected to Gaza, Amir-Abdollahian added that the Zionist regime with the full and unlimited support of the United States and by killing and injuring tens of thousands of Palestinians who 70 Most of them are children and women, and by attacking and destroying hospitals and committing all kinds of war crimes, could not overcome the will of the resistant and Palestinian nation, so they are trying to continue the same goals of aggression and military operations against Gaza, at the same time in the political arena, and they continue their efforts to win over Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups. Amir-Abdollahian emphasized that the nation of Palestine proved that it would win against the plan of America and the supporters of the Zionist regime in the political arena as well as in the field arena.
Ziyad al-Nakhalah Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, also appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran's firm support for the rights of the Palestinian people, and noted that the visit of the Foreign Minister of Iran to Lebanon in such a circumstance contained a clear message and said that without a doubt, a multilateral coalition, has targeted Gaza, the Palestinian people and resistance, but this coalition was forced to accept a temporary truce despite this long-term aggression and massive killing of Palestinians and massive destruction of Gaza's infrastructure and even attacks on hospitals.
While explaining the dimensions of the temporary ceasefire agreement, Khalil al-Hayya, one of the prominent leaders of the Hamas movement, also said in this meeting, that Hamas is proud of the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the Palestinian nation. He added that the US is a partner in drawing strategic goals with the Zionist regime, but despite 45 days of war, they could not register any victory other than the killing of Palestinian women and children and the destruction of hospitals, and they were forced to accept a temporary ceasefire.
