The 17th conference of the Joint Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan

In this meeting, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development from Iran and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Turkmenistan will be responsible for organizing the joint commission.

NOURNEWS- The 17th Joint Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan will be held in Ashgabat on November 17 to 19 in order to develop and strengthen economic relations between the two countries.

Dr. Mehdi Safari, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, by announcing the abovementioned announcement and emphasizing Iran's strategy of developing all-round relations with neighboring countries, described the strengthening of relations with the friendly country of Turkmenistan as very important, furthermore Dr. Safari said that this meeting is supposed to focus on various areas of cooperation such as Transit and transportation, energy, gas, trade and investment, customs, banking and financial issues, standards, tourism, health, agriculture, and other important matters should be negotiated and consulted.

Dr. Safari also said that at the same time as the meeting of the Joint Commission, it is planned to hold a large project exhibition in Turkmenistan with the participation of numerous Iranian companies that are active in various fields.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development from Iran and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Turkmenistan will be responsible for organizing the Joint Commission.

The 16th meeting of the joint commission of the two countries was held in Tehran in November 2021.
