NOURNEWS- The concern about the vague and dark future of the war in Gaza and the internal differences of the Zionists regarding the continuation of war crimes and genocide in the Gaza Strip, which can have unpredictable domestic and international consequences for them, is increasing day by day; The political analyst of the Zionist newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth wrote: “Unfortunately, there is no prospect of victory; Netanyahu's statements to continue the long-term war are an alternative atmosphere for victory, which is basically impossible.”
The results of Israeli public opinion polls in the domestic stages show a sharp decrease in Netanyahu's acceptance, as 52% of the poll participants consider Benny Gantz to be a more suitable person for the position of prime minister, while only 26% agree with Netanyahu's continuing his work as Israel’s prime minister.
It is interesting to note that 24% of the people who voted for the Likud party (Netanyahu's party) in the previous round of elections now want Benny Gantz as prime minister, and only 53% of the Likud voters approve of Netanyahu's presence as the Zionist regime’s PM.
Netanyahu's heavy defeat and the change of opinion of the voters towards Likud is happening while this situation is not observed in Gantz's coalition and 98% of the voters of Gantz's coalition still support him, also 90% of the voters of “Yesh Atid” also support Gantz and Only one percent of this group supports Netanyahu.
The successive mistakes of “Netanyahu” since the beginning of the brutal attack on Gaza which has claimed the lives of more than 11,500 innocent people, most of whom are women and children, have not only brought hatred towards him on unprecedented levels in the domestic dimension but also caused his supporters such as Biden and Macron to take a clear stance.
Dissatisfaction with Netanyahu has progressed to the point that according to the latest opinion polls in the occupied territories, if the Knesset elections are held now, the parties opposing the government will win 77 seats against the 43 seats of the coalition parties of the current government.
In the meantime, the polls show that the attitude of the residents of the occupied Palestinian lands towards the continuation of the war is very ambiguous and fragile due to unstable mental conditions.
The results of the latest polls conducted by Maariv newspaper show that 59 percent of the residents of the occupied lands support the “conditional humanitarian ceasefire”; Most of the participants in the survey have declared that they are in favor of the ceasefire if all the prisoners are released, while some of them also approved the ceasefire on the condition of the release of some of the prisoners.
In this poll, three percent of the respondents want an unconditional ceasefire.
Examining the views presented in this survey shows that 41% of the participants are in favor of the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip after the end of the war, and 39% considered the withdrawal of the Zionist forces conditional on handing over the control of the Gaza Strip to international institutions.
The occupation of the Gaza Strip and its control by the Zionist government or the government of the West Bank is one of the main goals announced by Prime Minister Netanyahu. While Netanyahu's decision to occupy and manage the Gaza Strip has faced a negative reaction from the international community, even the supporters of this regime. Last week, after Netanyahu made claims that the Gaza Strip would be secured after the war, US President Joe Biden made it clear that “Gaza cannot be run by Israel or Hamas.”
