NOURNEWS- Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the president of Iran, arrived in Riyadh to participate in the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
Following the barbaric and criminal attacks of the Zionist regime against the defenseless and innocent people of Gaza, Ayatollah Raisi, following a series of diplomatic actions and in phone and face-to-face conversations with the leaders of Islamic countries, pursued the holding of an emergency summit of the leaders of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
This is the first visit of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Saudi Arabia after 11 years.
For this purpose, Mohammad Mahdi Rahimi, the director general of the public relations department of the Iranian President's office, wrote on X social network: After 11 years, the President of Iran has entered the Riyadh airport wearing a Palestinian Keffiyeh to support the oppressed people of Gaza.
