NOURNEWS- The head of the European Commission has proposed five principles for the future of the Gaza Strip after the end of the recent war, based on the two-state solution.
Ursula von der Leyen has claimed that in exchange for the official end of Hamas' control over the Gaza Strip, the blockade of this area will be lifted.
Von der Leyen’s plan has five basic components:
There should be no safe haven for Hamas.
There should be no government led by Hamas.
There will be no permanent siege in the Gaza Strip.
There will be no long-term Israeli security presence in the Gaza Strip.
There will be no forced migration of Palestinians.
A review of these five components clearly shows that von der Leyen and her companions are only trying to theorize the occupation-oriented positions of the Zionists and establish the dominance of Tel Aviv, Washington, and the EU over the Gaza Strip.
Therefore, contrary to the propaganda made in the Western media, this is not considered a new and independent plan, and if it is clear, the first and second provisions of this plan have an implementation and executive guarantee, and the third to fifth provisions, although apparently in favor of the Palestinians, are completely interpretable, and far from having any executive guarantee.
A glance at the fate of the UN resolutions regarding the ban on illegal settlements in the West Bank makes von der Leyen’s real intention of presenting the current plan clear.
Another point is that; In January 2006, Hamas won a completely free and legal election in Gaza, and the non-recognition of this democratic process by the US and the EU became a reason for the blockade of the Gaza Strip.
Now, in 2023, von der Leyen and other European officials, instead of admitting the crimes they have committed against the residents of Gaza in the last 17 years, are trying to return to the starting point of the conflict and impose their undemocratic and dictatorial claims on the Gaza Strip, the region and the international system.
The last point is; Basically, this plan was not prepared and regulated by the EU and is the product of the joint cooperation of think tanks in America, the occupied territories, Brussels (headquarters of the European Union), and von der Leyen has taken the sole responsibility of announcing this plan and assigning it to the EU.
Of course, the role of this repetitive and thread-like game has been determined for years, and in the future, it will mount nothing but failure and destruction of the Western and Zionist enemies.
After the recent intelligence and field failure of the Zionist occupying regime, the EU and US intend to change the balance of the battle from civilian routes to the benefit of Tel Aviv.
However, the resistance front is well aware of the intention and purpose of the EU in presenting this proxy plan and will not submit to their constant deception in the Palestinian cause and the illusory two-state solution.
In this situation, von der Leyen and her companions have only aggravated their great crime of accompanying the genocide of the residents of Gaza and fully supporting the crimes of the Zionists.
