The last play of the "Losing Horse"

Although Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his allies are trying to show the heavy defeat which they have felt due to their surprise in the Al-Aqsa Storm operation as nothing by killing more civilians in Gaza and to restore their lost reputation among the Israeli public, the results of Israeli opinion polls show that this "losing horse" of politics in the Zionist regime is playing the last sequence of his scenario in the role of prime minister.

NOURNEWS- The results of the latest polls conducted in the Occupied Territories show that Israelis' trust in the coalition government led by Benjamin Netanyahu has decreased to the lowest level in more than 20 years.

According to the “Times of Israel” and based on a survey conducted by an Israeli government research center, two weeks after the “Al-Aqsa storm” operation, only 20 percent of Jews and 7.5 percent of Arabs trusted the Netanyahu cabinet. 75% of Israelis consider him responsible for the failure of October 7th, and 64% of them believe that Netanyahu has not yet accepted the responsibility for this failure, 66 percent, including a number of Likud supporters, want his immediate resignation, and 80 percent want to hold elections after the end of the war.

Unstable conditions, the development of an atmosphere of distrust and the formation of public hatred towards Netanyahu and the performance of his cabinet have caused three members of his coalition cabinet to seek resignation and withdrawal from Netanyahu's government. The Zionist newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” disclosed this news without mentioning the names of these three cabinet members, and wrote: “The failure of the cabinet and the security services to prevent the October 7 operation and the confusion and poor performance after that is the main reason for the resignation of these three people. “

All these events, along with the daily demonstrations of the families of hundreds of Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip and their demand for Netanyahu's immediate resignation, have put double pressure on the fragile position of the Prime Minister of this regime. Protests against Netanyahu's incompetence, which were previously associated with his actions to approve the judicial reform bill and escape from law enforcement, have now taken on wider dimensions to the extent that Israeli public opinion openly blames Netanyahu for the polarization of Israel due to his attempts for bringing forward the bill of judicial changes and thus weakening the combat power of the Israeli army.

Netanyahu, accused of corruption, had a lot of motivation to approve the judicial reform bill, and months of protests by tens of thousands of Israelis to prevent the approval of this bill and weakening of the Supreme Court were useless. What happened three months after the approval of this law in the Knesset is the increase in instability and severe political differences in the Zionist regime, many of which are the result of Netanyahu's desire for power and the formation of bipolarity in the political, intelligence, military, and security structures of the regime, accordingly, many believe that all the mentioned crisis have to the Israel’s surprise in the Al-Aqsa storm operation.

Now, after Benjamin Netanyahu's successive actions in order to secure his personal interests, the survey results of the Hebrew-language newspaper “Maariv” show that if new elections are held, the Likud party led by Netanyahu will lose most of its seats. Benny Gantz's National Current will win 40 seats (out of 120 seats), while Netanyahu's Likud will have only 18 seats.

The fact is that the Israelis have lost their trust in Netanyahu, and the members of the coalition government know this well; The results of the polls also confirm this issue, after the Al-Aqsa storm operation, 92% of Zionists are very worried about the future of Israel, and 84% of them consider Netanyahu responsible for this failure.

Experts believe that Netanyahu is in the most precarious position of the coalition government with weak allies, and it is expected that he will be forced to leave the field of Israeli politics at least after the end of the conflict in Gaza (if not before).

Now, twenty days have passed since the beginning of the Al-Aqsa storm operation, which, in addition to inflicting thousands of dead, wounded, and prisoners on the Zionist government, caused the regime's deterrence against the Palestinian resistance groups to be broken, once again the finger of protests and opposition is pointing towards Netanyahu.

Although Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu and his allies are trying to show the heavy defeat which they have felt due to their surprise in the Al-Aqsa Storm operation as nothing by killing more civilians in Gaza and to restore their lost reputation among the Israeli public, the results of Israeli opinion polls show that this “losing horse” of politics in the Zionist regime is playing the last sequence of his scenario in the role of prime minister.
